In the National Birendra Art Museum, inaugurated by Her Late Majesty Queen Aishworya Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah in august 1986 A.D., large number of excellent artworks are collected and displayed. Right now, there are 189 pieces of art created by more than 70 artists who are displayed for public exhibition and the museum authorities are speculating to collect other relevant works of renowned artists in the course of time. A minimum entry fee is charged to students and other people from within and outside the country that come to visit observe the museum.
