INTRODUCTION
The Nepal Association of Fine Arts (NAFA) was founded by His late Majesty King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev when he was the crown prince in 1965 A.D. His late Majesty accepted the presidency/chair of NAFA and glorified this organization and the field of Nepal : art at large.

The Nepal Association of Fine Arts (NAFA) was affiliated with the main body of the Royal Nepal Academy in 1977 A.D. by the gracious will of His Majesty the King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. it is, so, devoted to foster and develop fine arts.

  NAFA Objectives:
? To bring together the artists working in the field of fine arts and others who have interests in or have contributed to this field and develop such feelings among them.
? To work as the central coordinating body in the field of fine arts.
? To inspire and encourage the development of art in Nepal.
? To carry out study on, protect and ensure the betterment of Art and Architecture of Art and Craft of historical importance.
? To establish a sound relationship with other national and international organizations working in related field of fine arts.
